HANDLING IN/OUT $0.60 PER CUFT ONE TIME ONLY CHARGE ($60.00 MINIMUM) SERVICES INCLUDE: Normal customs clearance for used household goods and personal effects,
container haulage, container unloading, delivery to ground floor residence,
delivery within residence, normal unwrapping / unpacking, minor setup
of furniture, and debris removal at time of delivery. Additional charges will apply for: Shipments going over the 6a.5 density per cft, Uncrating, Deliveries involving stairs, Shuttling, elevators, long carries (distance of over 75 feet from where the truck can safely park to residence Door). Heavy lift items (pianos, organs, safes, pool tables, large marble tops, etc.), or set up of flat packed / knockdown furniture which will require a third party service or take longer than simple re-assembly. Antiques, new purchases, and Inherited goods will incur additional clearance and handling fees. OUR MILEAGE IS BASED FROM THE LONG BEACH PORT ZIPCODE 90802 WE HAVE A MINIMUM CFT FOR GROUPAGE 1 x 20/800CFT AND FOR 1 x 40/1600 CFT We must receive all US documents for clearance purposes with clear and legible copies of the clients passport photo page, visa, green card, resident card, and I-94 card (if Applicable) at least two weeks prior to vessel arrival. Plus, US Customs may request copies of the clients accompanying family members. PLEASE NOTE: Fax copies are not legible for Customs, therefore, are not accepted. We would like to inform you that in accordance with our management policy, all shipments are subject to pre-payment. Past experience has shown that this is the only way to avoid unpleasant situations once service has been rendered. We are sure you can understand our position in the matter.
